WARRANTY
 

SymmUPS offers a 13month warranty on all Symmetra systems and a 24 month warranty on all battery packs (unless expressly stated otherwise) through our parent company, Wesworth Electric, Inc.

Term - Our warranty policy begins at the delivery date or pickup date.

Initiation - If you have a problem with the UPS, first call or email us. Give me your phone number and a good time for our technical team to contact you. Our warranty requires you to perform basic testing and troubleshooting with our technical team prior to replacement.

Resolution - We exclusively decide whether to a) replace the unit or upgraded model, b) have the unit returned to us for repair, c) refund the purchase price less a pro-rated amount based on the cost of batteries.

Warranty Shipping - If we elect to send a replacement or repair, basic shipping (UPS ground or Freight) is included in the warranty. Overnight, Express, or Liftgate service is available for ADDITIONAL fee. You must pack and ready the unit for shipping.

Limitation of Warranty - EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, WESWORTH MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.

Limitation of Libaility -EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL WESWORTH BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. Specifically, Wesworth is NOT liable for any costs, such as lost profits or revenue, loss of equipment, loss of use of equipment, loss of perishables, costs of substitutes, claims by third parties, or otherwise.

Withholding of Warranty Service - Wesworth reserves the right to withhold any resolution to warranty if the customer of record has a past due balance with any division of Wesworth Electric. Full satisfaction of the warranty will occur once past due payments are made in full.

Battery Warranty - If the UPS indicates a bad battery during the warranty period we offer 3 options to handle the claim. You are required to assist in installation.

  • Standard - NO CHARGE - We will send you a prepaid label to ship the batteries back to us and we will ship back pre-wired replacements
  • Self Service - NO CHARGE - You can pickup the batteries from a local distributor, rewire and replace them. We pay to ship them back
  • Expedite - $30 or use you own shipping accnt - We ship you the battery systems first and then We pay to have them shipped back.
